I've had a few questions about how I make my pictures so I thought I'd write it up in a journal and lay bare my process. I used to put a short bit of info in each post but it seemed like overkill, or that I was somehow aplogising so I stopped. In any case this is it. I will add step by steps if I ever get to stop and do progress shots at any point. I start with a collage. I use images of people as a collager would and assemble them together roughly. They don't need to be pristine because I'll be doing a lot to them. Backgrounds/cities/props are usually from Sketchup so you can find the right angles and fit everything together. This wouldn't work in a collage because of the difference in colouring/surface, but we're going to MAKE them work here. I trace the outlines of the whole thing in (an old, cheap, out of date version of) Manga Studio Debut. I take the lines into photoshop. I'm sure many of you are reading this from home, in lockdown, and social distancing. Times are difficult for a lot of people right now, and although in some respects I am very lucky, I'm also one of those who has no work for the moment. Some of you may be wondering what has happened to some of the pictures from my gallery. DA deleted one for breaching the terms of service, and as a precaution I have deleted a couple more. They are available elsewhere in uncensored format (tumblr, giantessbooru etc.) so if you want to find them you can search them out.
